Forest Hill is not just another affluent neighbourhood in the city of Toronto. This scenic community has ample rolling hills and winding roads and its stately homes were uniquely built. Many prestigious schools are located in the area, coupled with plenty of community amenities.

Architectural Styles and Environment
In Forest Hill, you will find grand homes with a wide range of architectural styles, including Tudor Revival (pitched roofs, timber framing, high chimneys - British), Georgian (symmetrical window arrangement, centered panel front door with transom, chimneys on both sides – British & US) and French Colonial (vertical timber posts on sill, exterior stairs, French doors - US).
The sidewalks in the neighbourhood are lined with matured trees that are decades old, thanks to the dated building codes and bylaws of the Forest Hill Village. Sophisticated landscaping and gated entrances are not uncommon scenes.

Community Amenities
The Kay Gardner Beltline Trail, originally part of the Toronto Belt Line Railway loop, spans 4.5 km in the northeast section of Forest Hill. This beautiful trail, with dense tree lines, provides an escape from the city's busy life, and it is good for walking, jogging, cross-country skiing and nature appreciation all year long. The trail is also part of the city's Discovery Walks program; the complete "Central Ravines, Belt Line & Gardens” walk is 11 km long.
The Larry Grossman Forest Hill Memorial Arena provides ice time for children and adults alike.
In addition to the resources in print, audio and video format, check out the community events and programs provided by the Forest Hill's Public Library.
